Thanksgiving '09

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at the Hail's house. It was great to see the 3 high chairs all lined up with our 1 year olds.

Baby Ben and Baby Tyler are getting big. They are walking circles around Sophie (who we expect to take off walking any day now).

Mom (I had no answer to why they had red santa like coats on and only leotards underneath)

My Baby Turns One!

Our beautiful princess turned 1 in November. She enjoyed her own cake!
On Derek's birthday we went for a second trip this year to Great Wolf Lodge and the trip was even better than our last visit.

Mom-mom's Surprise

Mom-mom made a surprise visit for Halloween and Evan's birthday. Sophie loved Mom-mom to pieces and they spent a lot of time snuggling. Evan was confused about his special visitor and kept asking when we were all leaving for vacation together. He equates Mom-mom and Grandpa with vacations (Family Reunion to NY, Trip to RI for Ryan's Wedding, Trip to Great Wolf lodge in the spring).

Evan's 3rd Birthday Party

Evan had about 10 friends over for his 3rd birthday party. They got to dress up and pretend to be hosptial doctors.

We had fun decorating for the "Hospital Party".
Entrance Sign: Williamson General Hosptial.
Reception Desk where patients got wristbands.
Doctor's lounge where the kids got their doctor coats.
Stations where the kids could pretend to do first aid, give shots, listen for heartbeats, give "medicine".
The photos show the hallway enterance where we sketched hospital doors, a medic unit, trees, bench, etc.

We met Buzz's best friend Woddy during our Trick-or-Treating.

We all had costumes this year.
Merrie was the Evil Queen from Snow White.
Sophie was Snow White.
Derek was Ernie which was popular (if not somewhat terrifying for the small children at Evan's school).

The reason we go through the muck and the rain and the cold is to get amazing photos like this one.
