Planning our Trip to Italy

Next summer I have my sabattical from work (8 weeks paid vacation!) and Derek is taking time off so we can go to Europe together. We are thinking of flying to London to visit our friend Karen for a couple days and then down to Italy. We found a tour packagae through Rick Steves's that will take us through Venice, Florence and Rome in 10 days. Then we hope to go south to Calabria to find the town where my dad's family is from called Sant Angelo. So far, I am having problems finding it on a map!
