Windy Seattle!

These past few days have been a little crazy after the wind storm came through. We lost power late Thursday evening. With temperatures dropping in the house on Friday and all of us (Derek, Merrie, Evan and the grandparents) huddled around the fireplace, we decided to get a hotel room. It was wonderful to get out of the cold, watch TV and take a nap. Our power finally came on Friday night and we turned our hotel room over to a neighbor across the street who didn't have power.

I'll have to take a photo of the tree down about 2 blocks from our house which took down two different power lines and a Volkswagen.
