Behind on Posting... We Need a Break! We have too much Fun!

Two weeks ago was a crazy week for both Derek and I. I traveled to Oregon for work on Monday and Tuesday (which I will be doing most weeks in my new job) and Derek had to work three days because his Debit Day was inserted in between his regular work days. We still had fun during the week regardless of being dead tired. On Wednesday night we went to a cooking class at Whole Foods (high end grocery store) and learned about cooking with hot air. We made amazing dishes: rich biscuits, shrimp salad on grilled toast, Grilled Flank Steak appetizer, Roasted Chicken & Vegetables and Creme Brule!

Saturday the same week Derek worked and Merrie spent the day with Nadia, Sydney (flower girl from wedding), Nadia's friend and her two kids (Elijah and Olivia). We walked around the zoo with the kids, had great burgers lunch at Red Mill and then went to visit Derek at the Fire Station. The kids loved the visit and Derek was a great host. It was cool for me too to see Derek get dressed in his whole entire get up.

Saturday night, Betsy and I had a great girls night! We went to the musical 'The King and I' in Seattle after a homemade grilled meal at Merrie's. Girls nights are awesome.

The last week in September was not very interesting except for the car accident in front of our house! You can see photos on our Shutterfly website for gory details. Turns out a neighbor was drunk and instead of parking his car he used it as a battering ram to push three cars together. My blazer happend to be in the middle.



The last weekend in September we went to the movie Serenity (awesome sci fi movie), we had lunch with Betsy & Robert on Saturday and then broke off for the guys to play at GameWorks and girls to go shopping. Then headed out to the burbs to have dinner with Steve & Liz Santamaria and their two adorable girls!

Wow, looking back over the last few weeks we need to take some time off!
