Merry Christmas Everyone

We had a wonderful Christmas eve and Christmas here in Seattle but we are certainly missing family this time of year. Merrie's grandpa is down & out in the hospital in NY and we are praying for his quick recovery. We plan a visit in late January so the whole family can meet Evan.

Evan and I spent Christmas eve at Derek's fire station and had a wonderful fireman sized Prime Rib dinner. Evan met a new friend, Lowen, who was born 1 day before him on Halloween. Christmas was a low key family affair at our house. Evan watched with amazement as his daddy opened his stack of gifts from the grandparents. I cooked a turkey dinner.

Fun Evan facts today.... Evan weighs 12.5 lbs which means he is gaining about a pound a week. He likes to stand up with his legs straight these days just like a little person. He loves the police car decoration over his changing table and likes to talk to it at least a couple times a day.
