A Record for Holiday Parties!

We wrapped up our third Christmas party on Sunday. The first party was celebrated with our friends before the Nutcracker, the second was hosting the Downtown YMCA Board Holiday party at Miss Judy's, the third was for Merrie's Sunday outdoor soccer team. Between those parties and the home buying, we have kept ourselves busy.

Today is Christmas Eve. The house here in Seattle has been decked out for a month and looks wonderful. Derek is working again on Christmas Even this year, but he'll be home on Christmas morning to celebrate our first official married Christmas together.

Merrie is headed to the Akins dinner (Diana, Henry, Erin, Shannon & Amanda with spouses and kids in two) with Miss Judy this evening after stopping by the fire station to say hello to Derek. We'll head to Miss Judy's for a late Christmas dinner on Sunday night (dogs are also invited of course).
