One month update in one quick blurb....

Derek's Birthday (Nov 15th).... Unfortunatly Derek had to work the day before and the day after his birthday this year and on the day he was home catching up on sleep, Merrie was out of town! His bithday surprise was a home massage by Robyn (same lady who gave massges the day of the wedding). His Birthday Dinner was the following thursday at the Metropolitan Grill (best steak house ever!).

Mira's Pool Therapy (Nov 20th).... Mira's limping was a little sad and pathetic so we brought her to this place called Heavenly Spa in Fall City where she gets a 30 min session in a 90 degree pool with massage therapist to keep her muscle strong and leg flexible. After lots of very serious scowling in the first couple of minutes in the pool, Mira flashed us a BIG smile. We are going to twice monthly sessions. (beats teh $2700 price take for surgery!). We have to post a picture (worth a thousand words).

Thanksgiving! (Nov 24th).... Great Orphan Thanksgiving again this year. This time Betsy & Rob hosted at their place and we had some fantastic food and watched Elf again. This is becoming quite a nice little tradition. Kelly and Craig rounded out the crowd. Sure missed our families but its nice to stay close to home.

New Home Shopping..... Poor Joie, we have started pinging her again for help in making out next move. Looking at houses online has become a new hobby. We actualy have seen 3 pretty nice homes but did not pull the trigger fast enought to even make an offer. Looking at early next year to do the big jump!

Lots of travel for Merrie.... Merrie had a big project due this week; her big debut in her new job. For the past 2 weeks its kept her going back and forth to Oregon and California. Its been exhausting but worth it. All went very well. On to the next big thing.

Dora Dora Soccer Team... Merrie's sunday outdoor team won the championship and Merrie had her first goal of the season to put the team ahead 3-2. We eventually won 4-2 and are going to have our Christmas Party at our house in a couple weeks.

Ryan's back in town..... I am writing this as Ryan is trying to find a comfortable place to crash in our house. He had a flying cross country saga and is a little sleep deprived I think. He is here on another trip from Boston. We plan on running together to make sure we are ready for the Walt Disney World 1/2 marathon that's right around the corner!
