Catching Up & I don't Like Birds

March just flew by. Last week we turned over the keys to our old house to the new owner. We had a interesting surprise the next day from the Title company when they said they had accidentally overpaid us $8000! Unfortunately they were right, so we had to give them back the money. Otherwise the house sale went smoothly and now we can focus (finally) on our new home. We'll be unpacking for years to come!

We found out that our home is so warm and friendly that a number of bird families have moved in. They wake up and start pecking on their nests around 6am. Its loud and not cute. Our old friend Dan The Rat Man (exterminator guy) is coming next week to rid us of our birds.

Derek's parents are coming in about 2 weeks to visit! Merrie's dad is visiting in May and walking the Kirkland 1/2 Marathon.
