No Big Updates.... Just Waiting

Its been almost two weeks since I have been on my maternity leave. Derek has been working hard to finish up the database program for the Fire Department and I have tried to run lots of house and baby related errands. Other than that the only two other interesting things that have happened were (1) a squirrel tried to make a home in our wall and then promptly moved out- Derek did set a trap in the attic but it seems this guy didnt like our Peanut Butter sandwhich offering (2) we found out Sydney has tapeworm which is REALLY gross but is easy to treat.

The last two appointments at the doctor show the baby is doing well and the monitor shows I am having lots of little contractions here and there (I dont feel anything yet). We have our bags packed for the hospital just in case and we have more details on the plans for inducing on Nov 1st.

People keep asking if we are ready.... Our answer seems to be "as ready as we'll ever be".

Our friends Laura and Greg had their baby Anna last weekend shortly after that last picture on the blog was taken. Anna and Evan will hopefully be good friends as they'll share a good number of days together in "daddy day care".
